Money is not America’s God

For many years I have been arguing that the dollar is not the guiding force behind the American Dream. It is just the result of it. Allow me to explain.

America was founded upon an idea. The idea that all men are created equal. The idea that Life, Liberty and Private Property were essential and attainable only by a free society governed by those chosen by the property owners to represent them. [This was to ensure the voters had a stake in the country with their vote.] Ideas are powerful things which need vigilant defending. Especially when they are as good as ours are. Those ideals were and are the fact that we are individuals, responsible for ourselves, we have the capacity to dream and to fulfill those dreams or at least try, we strive for goodness, we know men are of an evil heart so we do not leave any power in the hand of one person, we have ownership of property of the people not the government (although you’d never know it today), and along with all these ideals we have responsibilities that come alongside them.

The only thing I mentioned that costs money is the private property. That is from the fruits of the freedom we possess,  because some people sacrificed their home comforts and honor and even their very lives and went to fight for others to keep them. [We have benefitted from their sacrifice.] We did not get here freely, and we shall not remain here freely. We all owe a debt to one another to do our very best, to do whatever it takes to remain free. Let’s face it. If we are not free, what good is all the money in the world?

So where is this leading to? Glad you asked. Wealth is not about money. Not in my book. In my book, this is what wealth is. I have a family that knows me and puts up with me anyway because they love me, I have a roof over my head and food in my belly, I have everything I need and most of the things I desire, and I am equal to Bill Gates. I live in a country where I can strive to attain this or that, I have so many rights because they were given by God, and I am able to worship my Christian God as I choose. Show me another country with all of this! I dare you.

How did this country come to offer such freedoms and rights? Through wars. Many wars, some declared but most not. This is not the first time we’ve had a run in with Islam. Does anyone remember the Barbary Coast? They were Muslims! Jefferson finally stood up to them, and we became famous for our Navy. (Okay, so I would like to think so.) Actually, they were stealing our trading ships, and we refused to pay the ransom when they were captured. We went and took back our men, and that was the end to that.

NOT LIKE TODAY when Israel trades dead bodies for live terrorists to appease a world that doesn’t care about what you do in the first place. They will not change their minds, because we are their enemies. They have declared war AGAINST us and if you’re not going to get on board, then get out of the way and let our men FIGHT.

War is not pretty. It is not courteous. It is not civilized. So stop expecting this from men who have been trained to handle these monsters. More men have died because of political correctness than anything else, and I, for one, am sick to death of it. Our country IS worth fighting for, as we are in battle with them once again.

The one thing I would change about this whole scenario is that I would abolish the force behind the onslaught of murders, beheadings, rapes, hangings, genital mutilation, etc. Islam appears to fit that bill. We did it when we came here, we did it in Japan. Why can't we do it there? Don't tell me we're afraid, because we’re not. It is not a religion of peace, it is a political war tool. As long as we fight as if they are equal, as if they read the geneva convention, they are going to win. That is the one thing I will not, cannot, stand for!

What does this have to do with money? Ask the politicians! They can tell you how much we spend every month, and they can also tell you what they would prefer to spend that money on to buy votes. Funny thing though. If we were not at war, there would NOT be this money. So please, tell me Sen. Obama and Sen. McCain, where would you get the money from because I’m sure not going to give it to you! It may be your god, but it certainly is not mine.

PS. Don’t forget, the money we are spending for gas is going into the pockets of the jihadis indirectly. Are you walking whenever it is possible? The exercise is good for you. I have walked ever since my car was stolen. Long story, not going to tell it. How’s that for short? lol.

The accelerant that lit my beehive was that the banks are accepting money in a way that this group claims is under Sharia law. However I couldn’t find the basis for this fact. (Maybe this has something to do about Sharia law.) It still burns me up inside. If it is true, then they should all be shut down, in my humble opinion. This is why I say we must rid this scourge from the face of the earth. I am not referring to the people who follow Islam, unless they are jihadis. Of course not. But if they don’t choose America above this scourge, then get them out of here.

There is another article about a mole. It speaks about all the arrests of people who have already been allowed into this country, some are not even citizens and they have been hired by our own government and had access to sensitive secrets. Just what is going on over there in the State Department?! Oh yeah, diversity is their priority. Staying alive just happens to be one of mine.

PSS. Remember this. We can serve only one master. Some people believe in global warming as if it were their master, some people believe there is no God as though life without is their only purpose for living. My Master is the Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him, I can do everything. I am grateful I live in a land that was built on principles and tenents of Christianity and the Ten Commandments. Thank GOD!

Great pics by Bubba: NC vs WBC

He has some of the best pictures around. When West ‘Baptist Church’ showed up to protest Fort Bragg on 16 July 2008, they met with a resistence that…well…you have to see it for yourselves. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

The link is right here. Go give yourselves a treat, courtesy of Gathering of Eagles.

The 'Typical Black Man'

The 'typical black man', in my experiences, is a hard-working, Church-going, God-fearing, fun-loving, family-centered, gracious man. Those are the men I have known. I could not, nor would I, try to define the behavior and thoughts of a whole race. Neither should anyone else try to define anyone by their race. Here in my side of reality, we call that prejudiced.

Prejudice: Main Entry: 1prej·u·dice.

Pronunciation: \'pre-j?-d?s\

Function: noun

Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French, from Latin praejudicium previous judgment, damage, from prae- + judicium judgment — more at JUDICIAL.
Date: 13th century

1: injury or damage resulting from some judgment or action of another in disregard of one's rights; especially: detriment to one's legal rights or claims.

2a (1): preconceived judgment or opinion (2): an adverse opinion or leaning formed without just grounds or before sufficient knowledge b: an instance of such judgment or opinion c: an irrational attitude of hostility directed against an individual, a group, a race, or their supposed characteristics.

synonyms see PREDILECTION.

Hopefully we can agree that anyone's personal definition of any word deminishes the value of said word. Take for example colors. How could I explain any color to a person who is blind and never saw? Everyone has their own perception of what a particular word means. Take me. I started to look up the word, 'Racism'. I used google, and I could not find the above definition. Was I surprised? You bet!

All this time I have believed racism to have the meaning of the definition above. Even I am open to learning something new! (lol)

So what is my point? Why do I say, 'the typical black man'? Because apparently some people cannot see that what Obama said about his grandmother is rather prejudiced. How can I tell? Is his grandmother 'typical'? NO! This man is over 40 years old. That means his grandmother was one of those people who put up with all the white hypocrites and bigots of her time (1940's-50's) when it wasn't 'cool' to have interracial marriages. As a matter of fact, in some states it was illegal!

Could this be part of her anxiety? Perhaps. I honestly have no idea, since I prefer to see a black man when I am walking down the street late at night. Why? Because they are familiar to me. They have protected me, nurtured me, and loved me. I thank all of you (and you know who are) for all of your kindness and love. I just wish I could be a better proponent to speak on this (and other) topics.

Being Mohawk Indian and Armenian, I don't even have a country I can go back to! Besides that, I'm not going anywhere. THIS IS MY COUNTRY TOO. I love this land, and I love our people. If y'all want to seperate yourselves from each other, you are stupid. You will miss ever having an opportunity to meet me. (*_*)

I hope and I pray that someday soon we can all just sit down at the same table for dinner and fellowship, and who was the most harmed by who is NOT a topic of discussion anymore. Until we move past THAT, there is no healing. Trust me, been there and done that. I speak of what I know, and it is the truth. God bless us all. If we don't accept His blessing, we certainly are damned. Not by God, not by the white man, but by our own hatred. Remember that the next time you take communion...

Berkeley Protest(s) and updates

I was unable to make it to Berkeley today, but I have some very good links that I can introduce to you and links of which you are already aware. This first link is one of a very good writer. I could not tell which side of the protest he would be defending, which means he was very professional. It's a shame he is not a journalist.

His blog is Political Blotter and his article is The scene at the Berkeley Marine protest. He has pictures, quotes, and links. I recommend his site, because I was impressed by it. Stop over and encourage him. He did a very good job. ;)

Move America Forward has some pictures available right now, and they will be updating when possible. I'm sure they will be writing a post later, because they are quite busy at the moment protesting the crazy city council at Berkeley.

The Mercury News was off to an early start this morning with this article: Protesters off to early start outside Berkeley City Council chambers. However, I am unable at this time to find many (if any) national news coverage of this event. They were there, oh yes they were. I guess this just another one of those news stories we don't need to know about. Funny thing, ya know. National security secrets? Oh yes, we have a perfect right to know about those, along with al Qaida knowing, but when we stand up for our military? Nah, it's just racist, nazi-like behavior, right? They can go to hell if they do NOT cover this...updates to come later.

Inside Bay Area has an article also: Pro-Marine protesters begin new rally leading up to Berkeley council meeting. They may have more news later. Now onto our next story.

There was also a march on Toledo, Ohio's city hall today at 3pm. The city council was trying to push through an apology for telling our troops they could not train in their abandoned part of downtown. Mind you, they knew they were coming, and they are not the ones who told our troops they could not use the area. It is the stupid mayor who can't make up his mind why he told them to pack it up, but he is the one who owes our men and women in the military an apology. I don't know if that will be covered either.

Update: Josh was kind enough to respond to me. He IS a journalist! It is so refreshing to read his articles. I am waiting for his approval to add him to my sidebar, and I shall be bringing you articles from him every now and then. Just to let you know.

I also have a few more articles to add, but my computer is trying to shut down on me. Updates and all that. I shall return, God willing! ;)

Update 2: Hat tip: Little Green Footballs for Zombie's pictures. Here is an update from Michelle Malkin. She covered the protest from beginning untill 5:33 pm. I want to find someone who actually got inside to hear the council's reaction and our side of the story...

Update 3: It's about time. Everyone is talking about change, but they have no plans and will not tell us what dasterdly changes they wish put on our saddled shoulders. Finally, someone with 'A New Tone' has juevos! This post is called, 'D-Day Has Come To The Pink City.' It has fresh news and more details about last evening. (It is in the a.m. now.) Thank you for this post. Good work!

Correction: That would be A Newt One, not a new tone. My apologies. ;)

Update 4: Finally. I have some news from TownHall.com. Michelle Locke has written "Berkeley Eases Anti-Marines Stance." It is quite interesting that pictures like these escaped the view of some people. I guess maybe it's just me, eh? Anyway, she did write a pretty informative post. There were about 2000 people who showed up, total, at the height of the protest. The council was in session until the wee hours. Instead of an apology, they decided not to send the letter stating that the Marines were not wanted. Instead, they just wanted to send a message that they were against Bush's war. Bush's war? The Republican's war? THIS IS WWIV, YOU FREAKIN' IDIOTS. Oh yes, before I forget, they said that the Marines have a right to exist. How nice. They sound like freakin' Hamas and Hizbullah! Please read her article, and have a good day.

Racist Gun Bans

Starting almost at the beginning our country's history, there has been an effort to disarm the black man and his family. It has paid no mind to whether they were slave or free men. This is one of the most onerous 'secrets' that pervades society 'till today, to the point where our black brothers and sisters believe in gun-control. Study your history!

Of course the one case cited most frequently, though you would never know it, is that awful  Dred Scott v. Sandford  decision by the Supreme Court of the United States in the year 1857. (A side note: This is before the Civil War.) This is the Republican reaction  to the decision, this is the Democrat reaction.

Okay, so you do not see a correlation between the Dred Scott decision and guns? Understandable. That is why I have included this information. To advance this train of historical facts, I am also providing this site: The Racist Origins of US Gun Control, by Steve Ekwall. (Hat tip: LizMichael.com.) This article has dates, places, reasonings, and some court titles. It is about the reasoning used which came out of the Dred Scott decision. IE: Since slaves or free black men cannot be citizens, they are not entitled to the same rights as citizens of the US under the constitution and the bill of rights. The Bill of Rights, you say? Yes, the Second Amendment!

Because they were declared non-citizens, they were not entitled to own guns. I can only imagine how many precious, beautiful people would have been spared from those racist KKK types if they had only had the opportunity to defend themselves...please. Read up on your history. Gun control is one of the ways they had to force you into 'slavery' for the government. Free yourselves, men and women. Once and for all. May God bless your every peaceful effort.
